National Energy Action

The Sheffield Energy Action Team is an impartial and independent NEA service run from a community hub in the city designed to help households access funding and upgrade their homes.

National Energy Action (NEA) is a national fuel poverty and warm homes charity.

The Sheffield Energy Action Team offer: 

  • free personalised information and advice about what energy efficiency measures your home could benefit from
  • help checking your eligibility for grants
  • help with grant applications and filling in forms
  • support with getting your home ready for measures to be installed, including funding for minor works where applicable
  • support and advice throughout the process of getting measures installed
  • help to make sure measures are installed properly and new systems are working
  • fuel debt advice
  • energy vouchers
  • free boiler servicing (subject to eligibility and availability)

They’re partnering with Sheffield City Council to help deliver the Warm Homes: Local Grant and can also help you access other grant funding subject to eligibility. Complete a referral form to access their support.
